OPTIC - part 2

O Noor is in an old damaged palace where there is this huge picture of the lion with the wings on the wall. Underneath it, there’s a throne. There are huge columns and it looks really impressive.
P It’s really dark in the old palace which makes it really mysterious. Also the picture with the lion that screams and that have wings impresses. It shows how powerful the lion was, but also what dangers there were.
T The only thing Noor says is “… you”. It ends a sentence she started when she entered the palace in the frame before. All together it says: “Don’t say I didn’t warn … you.”
I The title shows how impressed she is by the huge picture and the feeling that comes up in the palace.
C The frame shows how powerful the lions once were, but the damaged palace shows that that’s over now. Also the dark colors and the way the light is drawn make the palace a real mysterious place. You don’t really know what’s going on, but it builds up a pressure/ it makes it exciting and you really want to know what’s coming next.
